Hello and welcome to my new blog! I am 30-something professional living in Atlanta with a new baby and a pink slip. My life before baby was filled with work, networking and volunteer events, travel, and wining and dining at some of Atlanta's best restaurants. Right before my son was born, I was talking with my friend about my upcoming arrival when she said to me - "Don't worry you will eventually forget about your old life."
So here I am unemployed with a very busy 8-month-old, daydreaming about my old jet setting life, while trying to figure out how to manage a household and live on a strict budget. Hopefully, I'm not the only one out there struggling with these issues.
